Established in 2011, The Hungry and Foolish (or The H&F for short) was previously a place for silly and entertaining stories from the world we live in.
Now that my journalistic restrictions have been lifted as an ex-Apple employee, I’m free to use The H&F as I initially intended – a platform to discuss technology.
I hope you enjoy reading my opinions and use them when defining your own. We may not agree all the time, but I hope to gain your respect nonetheless.
I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada with my wife Jackie, our daughter Rey and our dog Abby. By day, I’m the Partner Manager for Bold Commerce and I also co-run a digital design studio – Delight Digital – with my wife.
I love Apple, writing, a good cup of coffee and believe there is no better drink than a single malt scotch.
How To Support
I don’t operate this website to make a profit, but if you’d like to support my work, you can do so a couple different ways:
What does ‘The Hungry and Foolish’ mean?
‘The Hungry and Foolish’ name was inspired by the phrase Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish which was featured on the last page of the final issue of the Whole Earth Catalog.
Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish was later popularized by Steve Jobs in his 2005 Stanford commencement address.
I’ve always lived by this phrase and felt there was no better name for this website.
