The Wristwatch Just Caught Up To The 21st Century

Thoughts on the Apple Watch by Ariel Adams:

The beauty of most watches for men, is in their ability to make the wearer appear original, and full of character. You simply don’t get that out of a piece of technology. Like I said, at least not yet. I remind you, this is the first Apple Watch, and things like design will evolve. Apple knows this, and they should be given a lot of credit for what they have done so far. The Apple Watch is really unlike anything they have done before. Those with an intimate knowledge of what it is like to get a company to produce something “new” for their own culture will appreciate what an ordeal it must have been at Apple and the many internal (and probably entertaining) debates.

Those still waiting for my thoughts won’t have to wait much longer.

Using The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus On A Real Disneyland Trip

Matthew Panzarino from Techcrunch:

There are a ton of reviews out there that have done meticulous work with benchmark apps, rulers and rectal thermometers to get you spec-based evaluations of the new iPhones. This is not one of them. I took a trip and used the junk out of them. I had some interesting realizations, I took some good pictures and I wasted some time in long lines playing Spider-Man. If this sounds like what you do on trips then you could find something useful here.

Best review of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus I’ve read so far.

Apple Updates Privacy Policy

The Apple Privacy Policy was updated on September 17, 2014. The changes were made predominantly to cover new features that will be released with iOS 8 or to provide additional information on current data use such as date of birth and third party user data provided by our users (for example when sending products or gift certificates). None of the changes are retroactive.

We added language to cover Spotlight Suggestions, Analytics, Family Sharing and AppleID for users under the age of 13 or equivalent age in their countries. Finally, we added a description of technologies used by location-based services, including GPS, Bluetooth, IP address, and crowd-source wi-fi hotspot and cell tower locations.

Direct, fair and honest.
